Redondo Glass Bottom Boat

Operating as Los Angeles County’s only mainland glass-bottom boat, the 1995 vessel runs 45-minute excursions that stay within the harbor. Passengers climb down a ladder into an observation chamber fitted with 7-foot by 2-foot windows facing directly into the water, then head above deck where local captains narrate harbor construction history and wildlife lore. Kids often get a turn at the wheel, and the outfitter also rents kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, pedal boats, and Duffy boats.
