Recess Grove

This Williamsburg community hub functions as an art space, workshop, cafe, and bar. The creative side revolves around an open studio stocked with a wide range of art supplies and a hand-tool woodshop used for both scheduled classes and open shop time. Aside from sashiko workshops, visitors drop in to disconnect from technology, unwind on the quiet back patio, or order from a cafe counter serving coffee, wine, beer, and spirit-free cocktails. The environment is designed with an intentional, judgment-free focus on learning new skills.
