Description

Occupying the 18th-century Goyeneche palace, the institution spans five large floors displaying an extensive range of paintings, sculptures, architectural drawings and models, photographs, and classical plaster casts. Visitors encounter works by masters such as Goya, Rubens, El Greco, and Sorolla, alongside Goya’s original engraved plates at the National Calcography collection. The setting offers a calmer and more intimate setting with fewer visitors than the city's larger museums.
