Description
Well-maintained trails climb upward for roughly an hour and a half, punctuated by small resting spots on the way to wide mountain viewpoints. Down below, the grounds offer plenty of room for calm picnics, and the clean water remains uncrowded even with numerous kayakers out. Adding an unexpected touch to the scenery is a unique set of rain drums located within the recreation area.
