Description

Designed by William Johnson and William P. Bell, the Cheviot Hills layout is an 18-hole, par-71 championship course playing at 6,839 yards. It launched onto the competitive scene by staging the 1949 U.S.G.A. Public Links Championship, later serving as the venue for numerous LPGA and Senior tour events between 1978 and 1994. Navigating the fairways requires a great deal of skill, where a variety of lies challenges golfers on approach shots.
