Radio City Christmas Spectacular Adds a Rockettes Tap Number
The Radio City Christmas Spectacular adds Ring, a tap number that grows from three silhouettes into a 36-dancer kickline.
🎄 Opening Day, November 4

👠 Inside the New Tap Number
Ring, the newest number in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, is a contemporary tap routine set to Carol of the Bells, choreographed by Emmy-nominated Chloé Arnold with the show's resident creative team. It opens on three Rockettes in silhouette and builds until all 36 dancers join the final kickline, bringing the production to ten Rockettes numbers, the most in its history.
🎥 A Closer View This Year
The 2026 run adds live cameras placed overhead, at the sides and in front of the stage, feeding every number onto two screens that flank the proscenium. Seats far from the footlights still catch the footwork, and the overhead angle shows the kickline geometry that the orchestra seats miss.
🏛️ Planning Around the Run
The Christmas Spectacular runs at Radio City Music Hall from Wednesday, November 4, through January 4, 2027. The 1932 Art Deco hall on Avenue of the Americas also offers backstage tours of its historic stage, a way to see the room on a day without a show ticket.
