Queens Playground with a Giant Spray Area by Forest Park

Cool off in the spray area, then claim a picnic table at this Richmond Hill playground off Myrtle Avenue.

Plan a splash stop at Jackson Pond.

💦 Water Play

Jackson Pond Playground runs on water power. A giant spray area anchors the 1.1 acre grounds at Park Lane South and Myrtle Avenue in Richmond Hill, right on the border of Forest Park, with multi age play structures and picnic tables spread around it.

Beyond the splash zone you get chess tables, basketball courts, and ground suited for scooting, a handy mix when siblings want different things. The play equipment includes a prominent slide, and the swings are designed for toddlers, an easy pick for the youngest crew. Public restrooms are on site, and the playground is wheelchair accessible.

The park is open daily from 6 AM to 9 PM, early enough for a morning run through the spray and late enough for an after school stop. Pack snacks, claim a picnic table, and plan a long session. The grounds sit along a busy street, worth remembering when little ones wander between the play zones.
