Queens Climbing Gym Offers Tall Rope Walls and Yoga
Scale tall rope walls at this Queens climbing gym, then head upstairs to train on the second-floor fitness deck.
🧗 Belay Rules and Wall Routes
Movement LIC operates as an expansive Queens climbing gym in Long Island City with options for different skill levels. Formerly known as The Cliffs at LIC, the facility provides tall rope walls alongside dedicated bouldering routes and yoga classes. Climbers can tackle technical problems on the main floor, then head upstairs to the second-floor fitness deck to use the workout equipment.
Anyone planning a rope session should note that climbers who know how to belay find the most options across the facility. The auto-belay setup is limited for intro-level kids, which makes advance planning helpful for families. Technical routes challenge experienced athletes, while the upper level provides strength training equipment.
Weekday hours run from 6 AM to 11 PM, giving morning climbers and evening athletes ample time on the walls. Weekend sessions run from 9 AM to 10 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Guests can easily combine rope climbing, bouldering, and conditioning during a single workout.
