Serving Portland Mercado since 2012, Qué Bacano! pairs full plates with an open-air bakery inside the building. The kitchen draws on imported and local ingredients to broaden the city's Colombian repertoire, turning out dishes like arroz con pollo and ceviche alongside street-food staples. At the bakery counter, the focus shifts to grab-and-go snacks or provisioning, with fresh empanadas ready for the counter and almojabanas, arepas, or tres leches available in bulk to take home.
