Public Image Ltd (PiL)

John Lydon's PiL plays their first New Zealand show since 1989, as part of the 'This Is Not… The Final PiL Tour.' The setlist spans the band's formidable catalogue, including groundbreaking early works like Public Image and Metal Box. The Powerstation is wheelchair accessible; it's recommended to arrive early and speak with security for a good vantage point. The show is R18, and general admission is sold out. One reviewer found Lydon 'back at the peak of his powers' — a 'lean mean snarling machine' in an 'utterly glorious' performance. Expect raw energy and uncompromising sound from this legendary post-punk act.
