Public Art "RELAX UR OK"
attraction
Scott Froschauer turns familiar road signs into reassuring affirmations, giving passersby a mindful moment of pause.
Description
Installed in 2020 at the intersection of Santa Monica Boulevard and Holloway Drive, the street-level piece employs standard street sign framing and typography. By presenting uplifting, mindful messages instead of regulatory commands, the work introduces a point of positive reflection for pedestrians and drivers navigating the urban setting.
