Public Art "Embracing Peace"

Artist J. Seward Johnson II cast the bronze work based on Alfred Eisenstaedt's famous photograph taken at the close of World War II. Standing along Tuna Lane near the USS Midway Museum, the sculpture serves as a popular waterfront landmark for visitors and photography.
