4.8 (322)park
$0.00 – $7.00
High above Honolulu, this hilltop park offers shaded picnic lawns and sweeping vistas from Diamond Head to Pearl Harbor.
Description

Perched along Round Top Drive, this forested cinder cone was historically known as a hillside where sweet potatoes were once cultivated. Beyond the vantage point over downtown Honolulu and out toward the Waianae Mountain Range, the grounds are a favored setting for watching the sunset. Short walking paths cut through native forest and eucalyptus trees, leading directly to the trailhead for the 1-mile ʻUalakaʻa Loop Trail.
