Pu'u Ma'eli'eli Trail
4.6 (275)park
A ridge hike winding past WWII bunkers to sweeping 360-degree views across Kaneohe Bay.
Description

The trail climbs through lush greenery, where traffic noise from below quickly yields to bird song and teasing glimpses of the coastline. Wet weather transforms the path into muddy, slippery ground, with ropes installed to assist with the climb on steeper stretches. The route generally takes an hour each way at a standard walking pace, though experienced hikers can knock out each direction in thirty minutes.
