Private Surf Lessons on the Gentle Waves of Mondo's Beach
First time on a board or fixing the basics, the session is shaped to your level, with one instructor for your group.
Mondo's Beach sits on Pacific Coast Highway in Ventura, with coastal hills rising behind the sand. Lessons here are private: only you or your group, with one instructor.
The operator, Captain Jack's Santa Barbara Tours, is a small company run by its owner, Jacob, and the listing carries Santa Barbara in its title. The lesson itself takes place in Ventura, at Mondo's. Guests staying in Santa Barbara drive down the coast to meet it.

Adults and children pay the same per-person rate, USD 105. Confirmation is instant, and booking stays open until 12 hours before the start time you pick.
The booking form asks for each surfer's height and weight. The operator uses them to set aside a surfboard and wetsuit in the right size.

Then you head into the water. The instructor helps you catch waves and works on your technique as the session goes. A first-timer and a surfer refining their form follow the same sequence, tailored to their experience.
