🌲 A Historic Clubhouse Outlook

Give an early evening start at Seattle Golf Club a little breathing room. The club is open Monday through Sunday from 7 AM to 7 PM, with access for members and their guests. Plan your time on the course around that closing hour before heading to Shoreline.

Century old Douglas firs surround the private course. Its historic clubhouse overlooks Puget Sound, and the vistas extend toward the Olympic Mountains. There is a wider Seattle landscape to take in here alongside the golf. Keep some time in your outing for that clubhouse outlook, rather than hurrying straight from a round to the journey home.

Robert Johnstone originally designed the layout in 1907. Ted Robinson, Arnold Palmer and Thad Layton later contributed revisions, shaping a demanding, scenic test. For anyone interested in course architecture, those successive designers give the round another thread to follow.
