4.7 (12,955)theater
4.7 (12,955)A historic Soho landmark on Old Compton Street hosting major West End musicals since opening in 1930.
Description
Operating as a Delfont Mackintosh Theatre since its 1930 opening, the historic venue has previously functioned as a casino, variety house, and cinema alongside its theatrical life. It has hosted the original productions of Evita, Chess, Crazy for You and Cameron Mackintosh’s production of Mary Poppins. Visitors note fair leg space in the stalls compared to tighter seating higher up, alongside unobstructed sightlines even under balcony overhangs.
