Prarie dogs in the parking lot
4.4 (10)attraction
4.4 (10)A wild prairie dog colony chirps, scampers, and sounds the alarm right at the edge of an everyday parking lot.
Description
This quirky roadside attraction sets up an informal wildlife encounter right off the pavement. Approaching them triggers an alert response complete with slapped tails. Give them a few minutes of patience, however, and the chunky critters settle back down, keeping their distance while picking up their natural scurry-and-frolic routine where they left off.
