Description

Rising near the headwaters of Johnson Creek, an urban creek with remnant native salmon populations, the 611-acre park spans groves of wild hawthorn, wetlands, and slopes of Western red cedar. Miles of trails accommodate hikers, mountain bikers, and horseback riders across the terrain. These varied habitats also shelter abundant wildlife, drawing birds of prey above open ground shared with coyotes, gray foxes, and black-tailed mule deer.
