Open year-round from sunrise to sunset, the preserve offers room for walking, hiking, and larger gatherings centered around an accessible site with a shelter accommodating up to 200 people. Beyond casual visits, the grounds serve as an active site for ecological care, hosting volunteer opportunities focused on protecting local oaks and rivers, including dedicated Spanish-language volunteer days.
