Portland Oregon White Stag Sign

First erected in 1940 for White Stag sportswear, the display combines neon and incandescent lighting atop downtown Portland's White Stag Building, historically known as the Bockus-Ryan Building. Also referred to as the Portland Oregon Sign, the rooftop installation pairs the illuminated stag silhouette with the glowing text “Portland Oregon.”
