Portland Date Night, From Rooftop Drinks to Saloon Dancing
Browse eleven food trucks before settling into a dim cider tavern with church pews and fruit-forward house pours. Weekly instruction and live country, folk, and rock acts shape the evening's final stretch.
Skyline, Cider, and Saloon
Cocktails Above Main Street
WonderLove centers its outdoor gathering space on a two-story container bar with a rooftop. Lawn games and a performance stage fill out the grounds. Eleven food trucks offer options from Indian to Mexican. Entry is limited to guests 21 and older. Friday and Saturday hours run until 2:00 AM. On other nights, closing time is 10:00 PM. Take a rooftop seat for craft cocktails and skyline views across Southeast Portland.

Gothic Interlude on Ankeny
Alchemy Cider Co. is closed on Monday. Tuesday through Friday and Sunday service begins at 3:00 PM. Saturday starts at 12:00 PM. Inside, dark academia accents frame a dim tavern lined with church pews. Thirty taps span cider, beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic options, while house ciders run light, slightly dry, and fruit-forward. Picnic tables fill the heated covered patio beside the Breaking Buns food cart.

Powell's Late-Night Two-Step
Built in 1967, The Showdown hosts country, folk, and rock acts in an old-school saloon on Southeast Powell Boulevard. Weekly dance lessons and square dancing shift the date from listening to moving. The backyard patio provides outdoor seating during the evening. Doors open at 5:00 PM every day, and the bar closes at 2:30 AM. Entry is limited to guests 21 and older. Make this the adults-only finale after rooftop drinks and cider.
