The soundtrack moves past City Pop into 90s and 2000s J-pop, Japanese R&B, and pop culture from the Showa and Heisei eras. Each cocktail starts with Japanese ingredients and carries the name of a pop icon whose personality and music inspired the recipe. The room grew out of its sister bar 929 and traces how Japanese pop shaped Mando-pop and Canto-pop from the 1970s on. Doors open at 6 PM Monday through Thursday and 5 PM Friday through Sunday, closing at 1 AM most nights and midnight on Sunday.
