Polo Beach
5.0 (1,200)attraction
A North Shore beach where spectators tailgate oceanfront, swim between polo chukkers, and stick around for live music.
Description

Home to the Hawaii Polo Club since 1963, this Mokuleia grounds pairs tournament matches with an easygoing coastal scene. On match days, action unfolds around professional play, food vendors, halftime competitions, and drinks from the Polo Beach Bar. Off the pitch, waves break offshore and sea turtles swim along the coast, with picnic tables scattered nearby. The sand itself naturally divides: the stretch directly facing the access trail draws standard beachgoers, while walking to the right leads into a recognized clothing-optional section with an open, relaxed atmosphere.
