Point Pinole Regional Park - Dotson Family Marsh
4.6 (74)park
Restored coastal marshland where Bay Trail walks open to sweeping views across San Pablo Bay toward Mt. Tamalpais.
Description

Bordering Pinole, Richmond, and San Pablo, the 2,432-acre parkland leads along bluffs and beaches, through breezy meadows with seasonal wildflowers and aromatic eucalyptus woods. Sightlines across the water take in active sailboat and shipping traffic set against the Marin shoreline. Access points include the Atlas Road Bridge and a 1.5-mile raised extension to the Bay Trail, added during major restoration work to expand footpaths across the shoreline.
