Point & Feather for Games, Hubbard Inn for Brunch
Plan a River North outing around what your group wants to do. Compare an activity led lounge with a tavern alternative, with dress requirements and floor access to check before committing.
📍 Locate Both Venues
🎯 Play at Point & Feather
Craft cocktails and New American plates share the lounge with social darts and pool tables. Choose it when your evening needs something to play alongside food and drinks. The layout includes three bars and a DJ setup. The recorded door policy includes dress code enforcement, with visitor reports describing uneven decisions around sleeveless shirts. Check current dress requirements before leaving home. This is the activity focused option in the comparison, rather than a promise of available games or seating.
🍽️ Consider Brunch at Hubbard Inn
Hubbard Inn pairs a multi level tavern setting with brunch and happy hour offerings. Consider it for a meal centered visit rather than the darts and pool emphasis at its counterpart. Seasonal transformations can change the decor, but no particular installation is promised for your visit. The top two floors sometimes close for private events. Ask which floors your booking includes before committing to a plan. That access check matters more than assuming every room shown in a photograph will be available.
⚖️ Pick Your Evening
Choose the lounge for games with your drinks, or Hubbard Inn for brunch and a tavern setting. The decision turns on activity versus meal plans, not a required order between the two. Check dress requirements at the lounge and floor access at the tavern before deciding. Both locations are in River North, and the map identifies them independently. The three additional recommendations offer other Chicago settings. The Northman operates seasonally. Check its current hours before planning a separate visit.
