Founded by Parviz Mukhamadkulov on Lorimer Street, the café anchors its service in the mahalla tradition of neighborhood welcoming. Beyond the espresso bar, the space functions as a community hub hosting refugee solidarity initiatives, banned-book shelves, and partnerships with Books Are Magic. It also hosts curated poetry nights, offering a workspace that remains generally tranquil, though the music can sometimes step too far into the foreground for conversation.
