Built for investment banker John Farson and also known as the John Farson House, the property functions today as a historic house museum and cultural venue managed in cooperation with the Park District of Oak Park. The interior preserves period-authentic decorative arts set against views of the grounds. Beyond guided tours led by docents, the house hosts public programs and private gatherings throughout its historic rooms.
