Playland Arcade
4.1 (357)attraction
A Santa Monica Pier fixture since 1954, packed with vintage pinball, classic arcade games, and seaside nostalgia.
Description

Opened by brothers George and Eugene Gordon, the arcade traces its roots to their father, Morris “Pops” Gordon, who helped pioneer the pier as a visitor destination. Over the decades, the space earned pop-culture fame as a filming backdrop for movies, music videos, and TV shows like Chuck. Beyond the oldest machines, the floor rounds out the boardwalk experience with driving simulators and ticket-redemption games right by the Pacific Ocean.
