Pizzeria La Sorrentina started out in 2016 as a food cart run by Chef Daisuke Matsumoto. Matsumoto was raised in Osaka in the back of his father Tomio’s Italian restaurant, an upbringing that inspired his career and eventually took him to Sorrento to hone his skills. Now operating in Vancouver, Washington, the kitchen centers on traditional Italian dishes shaped by his family’s culinary background and his time cooking in Italy.
