Ask Loyola before you go.

A venue first, a plan second

Growing up above a Brooklyn diner taught me to separate what a place actually does from the pitch. Piper Hall, Loyola University Chicago is a historic lakefront mansion used as a university event venue. The useful distinction is a venue to ask about, not a promise of a drop-in workshop.

Plan around the reason for your visit. The Women's Leadership Archives says it is available by appointment at Piper Hall. Contact Loyola about your intended visit or event before making arrangements. An archive appointment is not a general venue booking.

For making and practice, The Chicago Mosaic School teaches mosaic art, Lillstreet Art Center offers craft classes and Chicago School of Golf provides coaching. AYSO Chicago Lakefront (Region 418) is a youth soccer organization. My Hookah Cafe - Chicago Hookah Lounge is a lounge, not a workshop. Check each place directly before planning a session.
