Description

Extending 900 feet into the river from Greenwich Village's Christopher Street, this waterfront pier pairs broad communal space with shaded structures and tables beneath trees. Plentiful perimeter benches make it an easy stop for runners catching their breath and visitors lingering to talk. While traffic noise from West Street occasionally filters in and park rules are closely enforced, the grounds remain clean, well-lit, and notably calm, framed by clear sightlines over to New Jersey.
