Picture Book Spotlight with Micha Archer • Caldecott Award Winning Author and Illustrator of Wind Watchers

During the event, Archer shares how she builds her illustrations using inks, homemade stamps, and layered tissue paper. Along with a behind-the-scenes look at her bookmaking process, she will read from While We’re Here and her own book Wind Watchers—which is featured in the Society's Original Art Exhibition. Participants then design their own collages in a Greening the City workshop. The session is open to picture book fans of all ages, and admission includes all materials and a personalized, signed book.
