The kitchen’s cooking traces back to Hawaii's Vietnamese community, where the founder first gained recognition through dishes prepared for local church gatherings and special events. Encouraged by family and friends, she launched the original Quê Hương in Chinatown. Eight years later, this Kapiolani Boulevard location opened to carry forward that same culinary tradition, serving authentic Vietnamese recipes rooted in those early community gatherings.
