Before taking its current name, the restaurant originally opened its doors as Pho 518, founded by the family's uncle. Operation remained within the household across the decades, with brother Michael carrying on the founder's legacy until 2019 to keep the Pearland kitchen anchored in Vietnamese culinary tradition.
