Philly Cheesesteaks in Manhattan Served on Home Baked Bread
Philly cheesesteaks in Manhattan on home baked bread, with wings, chili cheese waffle fries and darts at a relaxed dive bar.
🥖 Cheesesteaks, Wings and Darts
Philly cheesesteaks in Manhattan get a home base at Wogies Bar and Grill, 44 Trinity Place, where the sandwich arrives on home baked bread from the kitchen. Owner Aaron Hoffman opened the tavern in 2004 to bring Philly comfort to New York, and the name honors the founder's father.
The scratch made menu runs from wings and chicken sandwiches to waffle fries topped with chili and cheese, all built for sharing over a round. Darts give the room something to aim at between drinks, a Wrexham flag hangs on the wall, and the energy stays loud and lively in a relaxed dive bar setup that welcomes large groups and sports fans.
Doors open at half past eleven every morning, which makes it a lunch stop as much as a night out. The bar closes at midnight Sunday through Thursday and stays open until 1 AM on Friday and Saturday, with happy hour and sports watching filling out the evening.
