A Mount Airy ballet school and performing company pairing classical training with vibrant seasonal productions.
Description
Founded in 1998 under artistic director Joy Delaney Capponi, Philadelphia Dance Theatre structures its instruction for both the recreational dancer and the aspiring professional. Training spans from early childhood through young adulthood, pairing disciplined classical technique with an environment where older students mentor younger dancers. Beyond daily studio work, the company presents an acclaimed Nutcracker each December, stages new works each spring, and performs as a member of Regional Dance America Northeast.
