Description

Maintained meadows and tall, arching shade trees spread across nearly four acres, ringed by a crushed gravel trail that loops the perimeter. At the southern edge, McAleer Creek cuts through a forested corridor where local schools gather at the overlook for annual salmon release events. The demonstration garden carries a quiet civic role, with produce grown and harvested for local food banks. Smaller neighborhood touches dot the grounds, including a garden club sculpture of an otter with her pup and a metal dogwood fountain fitted with a special drinking spout for dogs.
