Maintained by the City and County of Honolulu, the well-kept grounds concentrate much of their family activity around the jungle gym and play equipment off the 20th Avenue side, which draws neighborhood families on early Sunday evenings. Alongside the park's racquet facilities, the layout includes basketball courts and a spacious lawn used for soccer, casual walks, and relaxed outdoor time.
