Peters Reservation
4.5 (17)park
Two miles of quiet woodland trails wind past red pines and massed rhododendrons along the Charles River.
Description

Acquired as a family retreat in 1917, the property blends natural flora with deliberate landscape design. An oak and hickory forest covers much of the ground, with pathways and understory plantings laid out by landscape architect Fletcher, including a massed collection of Dexter hybrid rhododendrons. On the other side of Farm Road, a short trail extension links the grounds to Chase Woodlands.
