Description

Sitting on the center island between northbound and southbound US 1, the building is crafted from cut, squared Miami oolitic limestone, fronted by a porch reminiscent of the Florida bungalow style. Built under Franklin Roosevelt's New Deal, its northeast cornerstone remains inscribed with its opening date: October 21, 1935. Originally used by the Perrine Women's Club and later the South Dade Chamber of Commerce, the village-owned space has been renovated to accommodate private event rentals alongside local programming.
