4.8 (3,198)park
Portland’s first public rose garden anchors this historic park, complete with sunken rose beds and an ornate fountain.
Description

Established in 1909 across 16 acres in North Portland, the grounds frame the floral displays with rustic pergolas and thousands of rose varieties circling an ornate central fountain pavilion. Beyond the formal plantings, the site serves as an everyday neighborhood hub, pairing the historic Peninsula Park Community Center with an outdoor wading pool, a playground, tennis courts, and baseball fields.
