4.8 (16)park
Natick’s highest point offers quiet wooded trails and open hilltop fields with views reaching Mount Monadnock.
Description

Long before it became protected parkland, this ridge was the ancestral home of the Massachusett tribe, later shifting into a Colonial-era farmscape still marked by remnant stone walls. Geologically, the hill forms a classic glacial drumlin, covered in stands of birch, maple, oak, and pine. A one-mile trail along its north-south axis leads through the wooded habitat and connects into a recently added 40-acre parcel of open space, roughly 15 miles outside Boston.
