Description

Set within Lincoln Park in the Buena Park neighborhood, the 0.3-acre site dates to the mid-1980s, when the Chicago Park District teamed up with Greenpeace Great Lakes and Uptown community members to renovate an existing rock garden. Governed by local natural-area rules, it provides passing runners, cyclists, and walkers a brief stop just beyond the main flow of trail traffic.
