Named after former Garden Ridge Mayor Paul Davis, the park provides an easygoing neighborhood gathering place. Near the entrance sits the Around the Flagpole Brick Garden, where commemorative bricks can be purchased to honor or memorialize loved ones. Out on the grounds, outdoor cookouts and get-togethers center around a barbecue hut and picnic tables with grills, rounded out with playground equipment beside the two covered pavilions.
