4.6 (28)attraction
A historic Beaux-Arts landmark on Dupont Circle, this storied mansion once hosted presidents and pioneers.
Description

Once the residence of socialite Eleanor Josephine Medill “Cissy” Patterson, the property long served as a gathering ground for Washington figures, opening its doors to President Calvin Coolidge and aviator Charles Lindbergh. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the interior was later restored by designer Darryl Carter, pairing neoclassical heritage with contemporary sophistication. Today the address functions primarily as a venue, accommodating gatherings that span from intimate meetings to grand events.
