Description
Petra Padilla began baking home-style cakes in Phoenix’s Maryvale neighborhood in 1997, starting with a birthday cake for her daughter that prompted guests to ask for more. To keep up with growing orders, she left her job at McDonald's and taught herself cake decorating and baking techniques. She opened her first storefront location in 2005, offering small treats alongside custom cakes for weddings and quinceañeras across a wide range of cake flavors and fillings.
