Description

The grounds bring together several distinct early residences, including the Strawberry (Parks) House, Miss Anna's House, and the Pomeroy House, where settler memorabilia and everyday furnishings are arranged in real-life room settings. Over in Edna's House, which functions as the museum and Welcome Center, a timeline display tracing native inhabitants to the mid-20th century documents the families and turning points that shaped the former farming outpost into an expanded Texas city.
