Managed by Culture Warrington, the hall's layout ensures that even the back row upstairs feels connected to the stage. However, the historic building presents notable quirks: it lacks air conditioning, which can make hot days uncomfortable, and the seats have very limited legroom. Crucially, the hall was not designed for electronically amplified music, meaning acoustics can struggle during loud gigs.
