Separated by a cinder block wall from an adjacent power station and its overhead wires, the facility borders a neighborhood park equipped with a playground, basketball court, ramada, and restrooms. A patch of northside foliage provides modest sound dampening from the neighboring play area.

Reactions to the grounds are mixed. While some find the surface in decent shape compared to surrounding parks, others flag large cracks across both courts that disrupt tennis, though players occasionally adapt the space for pickleball by taping their own lines.
